After all, the rules for the game volleyball can be fairly complicated; especially if you plan to play the sport professionally. In those cases, you really need to know the indoor volleyball rules from back to front. If you don't know the official volleyball rules, then there won't be any leniency for you. In these times, they expect you to know them.

If you can't find a book of the official rules for volleyball, you still might be able to find them pretty easily on the internet. There are websites that have the rules and regulations of volleyball prominently displayed. Just make sure that the website is legitimate. There are some websites that are poorly maintained and may have the rules for high school volleyball and not the rules for playing volleyball in a professional capacity. Definitely watch out for this. After all, there are many differences in high school volleyball rules as opposed to professional. There is a lot more leniency and room for error in the high school version. Also, indoor volleyball rules can sometimes be different than outdoor. You should find the rules that best apply to you. This shouldn't be too hard, so have fun with it. Then you will have the best volleyball rules for the particular version you plan on playing.
